Understanding clay-body preparations
At Raoult & Beck, the same clay body may be offered in several preparations. LISSE, IMP, CHF, CHM, CENDRÉ and PYRITÉ identify a texture or a special effect. Particle size and grog content may vary by reference: the technical data sheet always remains the reference document.

Reading the range

IMPUltrafine grog
6 referencesUltrafine, flour-like grog that is almost imperceptible to the touch. It feels close to a smooth clay body without actually being one, and greatly reduces drying shrinkage.

1 referenceA special GE221 White Stoneware preparation. Its mineral grain remains visible after firing and under different finishes.
