GE222 is the smooth extra white stoneware clay in Series 221. Prepared in Saon, Normandy, this body contains no added grog and comes in 10 kg blocks for throwing and handbuilding. Discover its character through the first pieces made by Ceramic Factory.
To appreciate the colour of a clay, look at its unglazed areas: the foot, a rim or an exposed section. Glossy surfaces also reflect the glaze and the surrounding light.

One clay, several perspectives
Bare clay. Light. Glaze.
GE222 reveals itself through contrasts within a single piece: the softness of an unglazed area, the throwing marks and the sheen of a glazed surface.
These photographs preserve the nuances present during the shoot. The clay and glazes retain their colour and texture.
The photographs offer an impression of the fired appearance. Lighting, screens, glazes and firing cycles affect the perception of white; these images are not a colour measurement.
